60,000 Hydro clients in the dark as snowstorm dumps on Laurentians, Lanaudière

Close to 60,000 households north of Montreal were without power Friday morning as a late spring snowstorm blanketed the Laurentians and Lanaudière regions, pulling down power lines as it did so.

By 8:30 a.m., a total of 88 reported outages had blacked out 26,888 customers in the Laurentians while 198 service disruptions cut power to 32,983 clients in Lanaudière.
