Carsome Appoints King Cantona As Brand Ambassador

Southeast Asia’s largest integrated car e-commerce platform, Carsome has appointed Manchester United legendary forward, Eric Cantona, as its brand ambassador.

In a statement issued today, Carsome said that Cantona shares a common drive and relentless spirit as the company to go above and beyond for their fans and consumers.

With this appointment, Cantonal will be actively involved in Carsome’s upcoming promotional activities this year as well as group-wide advertising campaigns in Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

“We are excited to have Eric Cantona onboard as Carsome’s brand ambassador.

Carsome said that Cantona was instrumental in helping United end their 26 years of trophy-less seasons after he was signed from rival club, Leeds United in 1992.

This, according to Carsome, is very much likened to the company “as a brand that set out seven years ago to redefine the used car industry, at a time when customers deeply lacked trust in the used car market.”

Carsome said that it had since become an industry standard for customers to purchase quality assured pre-owned cars.
