United States shows complete dominance over Panama in Qatar World Cup Qualifiers – EU SPORT NEWS

The World Cup Qualifiers for Qatar 2022 are getting very exciting. Canada was the first country to confirm their assistance to the greatest soccer spectacle in the world.

The US had high hopes for a significant victory

The United States were the first to score via penalty shot from Pulisic, following a foul of Godoy over Zimmerman just 17 minutes into the game. Just 7 minutes later Arriola scores the second goal for the USMNT via head-shot!

At this point The US had one foot inside to qualify, however the first half was not over yet; just a minute before the end, Godoy made a huge mistake and the referee marked another penalty kick opportunity for the leading team.

Again, Pulisic put all his abilities and scored again! to make it his second goal of the game.

Just 26 minutes after the beginning of the second half, Pulisic strikes again with all his might and completes his first hat-trick in this qualifying round.

Panama need to wake up and mend their mistakes, although that was a extremely difficult task, regardless the team created an opportunity and they took it. Godoy, the player who was responsible for both penalties scored and put Panama in the scoreboard.

The game ended with the score of 5-1, giving Pulisic the opportunity to shine as the star player of the match.

The U.S. Men’s National Team needed this win to move forward on to save their spot in the FIFA World Cup after a 0-0 draw in Mexico City against their long-time rival Mexico. Currently, this win puts them in second place just behind Canada.
